Project Homecoming builds housing units for extremely vulnerable, low-income households in New Orleans. Begun in 2007 as a Presbytery of South Louisiana disaster recovery ministry, Project Homecoming has rebuilt 130 homes for low-income, elderly, disabled and under-insured clients. Project Homecoming will soon become an independent nonprofit Community Development Organization, expanding its services to include building amenities such as gardens and playgrounds.
