What difference can one day make?

Make a Difference Day last Saturday, October 24, was just one day. But it was a day where volunteers across our state chose to give a little time and a lot of themselves. What difference can one day make? Just consider Shreveport. Make A Difference Day: Ramp Up Louisiana 2009

Baton Rouge - Volunteers in three cities will build wheelchair ramps for citizens with disabilities during Ramp Up Louisiana on Make A Difference Day, October 24th.  Ramp Up Louisiana is a coordinated service project of the Louisiana Serve Commission, its AmeriCorps*State programs and the disability community.
