2nd Annual Storybook Ball

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Family Road of Greater Baton Rouge is hosting its 2nd Annual Storybook Ball scheduled on March 27, 2010 at the Baton Rouge River Center from 5-9pm. The “candy cane lane” setting will take attendees through life-sized Storybook modules.  Every Storybook will have an activity or project item for each child to take away with them.  The Storybook Ball will also feature a carriage for photo shoots, along with other settings to pose in, train ride, inflatables, and more.  Adults and children are invited to dress as their favorite storybook character or cocktail attire. This promises to be a magical night for children and families in the Baton Rouge Area and we invite you to help us make it a success.

If you are interested in volunteering for this event contact Richel Turner at 225.201.8888 ext. 3025.

What a fantastic event and idea. I wish we had something like that here. We have a Magik Theater for children that reenacts popular books but this would be such a fun thing to do with my son and educational as well.
