The RFP for the 2011-12 AmeriCorps program year is now available. The deadline for applying to the Louisiana Serve Commission is November 12. Organizations may apply for funding to support AmeriCorps members for intensive service in their community. AmeriCorps grants partially cover the expense of operating an AmeriCorps program but do not cover general organizational expenses. A cash and in-kind match is required.
Organizations interested in applying for the 2011-12 AmeriCorps program year must participate in a mandatory technical assistance call.
