The Emergency Management Disability and Aging Coalition is hosting a free training for volunteers to help people with disabilities and the elderly in emergency shelters during a disaster. After a disaster you can make a difficult situation a little less stressful. Volunteers will work in shelters in the northern part of the state where citizens would be evacuated. The volunteer training will be July 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
