FY 2024 AmeriCorps Louisiana Grant Competition

Volunteer Louisiana invites new organizations to apply for AmeriCorps funding through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

This annual grant competition welcomes applications from governmental agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations interested in establishing an AmeriCorps program within their respective entities. Administered by Volunteer Louisiana, these grants are made available through the federal agency, AmeriCorps.

The AmeriCorps State and National grants are awarded through a competitive process to eligible organizations that propose evidence-based interventions aimed at enhancing lives and strengthening communities. Funding from these grants can be allocated for various purposes, including monthly living allowances for AmeriCorps members, training, supplies, support staff, and other administrative expenses. New organizations, especially those serving in rural parishes or engaging underrepresented populations, are encouraged to apply.
